Since its creation in 1980, ELAM is specialised in small and medium series precision turning and machining as well as in the assembly of sub-assemblies.
ELAM is located in modern premises of 1000 m2 in Aumont Aubrac in Haute Lozère on the A75 motorway between Clermont-Ferrand and Montpellier. Recent, high-performance and versatile machines as well as close collaboration with specialists in the region for heat treatment, surface treatment and grinding operations enable ELAM to produce complex and elaborate parts as well as complete assemblies.
As a partner to companies in the aerospace, professional electronics, medical and mechanical industries, ELAM operates in an increasingly demanding industrial environment. Since 2018, ELAM has significantly increased its IT equipment in order to improve the productivity of its manufacturing and to supervise its activity in real time. The Esprit CAM software with milling and turning modules facilitates and accelerates the creation of machining programs, including for lathes, which is relatively rare.
In 2021, ELAM focused on strengthening its IT management of its operational processes and equipped itself with the ERP CLIPPER, which supports all company functions (sales, purchasing, production, stock, quality and accounting).
